Thank you for the opportunity for us to share our uses and views of OPeNDAP as a mechanism for sharing our SEACOOS (http://www.seacoos.org) data.

Attached you will find informal discussions of DODS / OPeNDAP that have been submitted by several members of our SEACOOS family:

I suggested that you review them in this order:

• seacoos_data_management.txt (an overview of SEACOOS data management)
• seacoos_data_provider_summary.txt (an overview of DODS as it applies to SEACOOS data providers)
• seacoos_data_provider_example_a.txt (a case study of USF's experience with DODS)
• seacoos_data_provider_example_b.txt (a case study of UNC's experience with DODS)
• seacoos_data_aggregation.txt (a summary of USC's experience as a data consumer)
