Regarding: consideration of OpenDAP as a community standard for sharing NASA data
The US Joint Global Ocean Flux Study Data Management Office uses OpenDAP to serve gridded data sets via Live Access Server. I encourage the adoption of DAP as a step toward interoperability of earth science data systems.
